Camera Angles

Establishing Shot - Sets up or establishes the content for a scene by showing the relationship between its important figures and objects

Long Shot - Typically shows the entire object or human figure and is usually intended to place it in some relations to its surroundings

Medium Shot - Also called a waist shot, a medium shot is a camera angle shot from a medium distance










Eye Level Shot - An eye level shot is a shot where the camera is placed at the subjects height











Shoot a Close Up Shot - This type of shot tightly frames a person or object.

Bird's Eye Shot - A Bird's Eye Shot is a shot with an elevated view of an object from above.

Worm's Eye Shot - This type of shot is a view of an object below the object as if you were actually a worm looking up at the object.

Extreme Up Close Shot - The shot is so tight that only the detail- such as a person's eye- can be seen.

Reaction Shot - A portrayal of a person's response to an event or statement made by another.

Point of View Shot - A scene which shows what a character is looking at.

Over The Shoulder Shot - A shot of someone or something taken from the perspective from the shoulder of another person
